CoolVerdict exists because buying an AC is a data problem

Roughly 40% of room air conditioners are the wrong size for the room they cool. Oversized units short-cycle and leave rooms clammy; undersized ones run flat-out and still lose. The information needed to get it right — BTU math, climate adjustment, honest efficiency metrics, real running costs — is public but scattered and routinely misrepresented.

CoolVerdict puts it in one place: a sizing calculator that accounts for climate, sun, and insulation; a database of real, currently-sold units with specs stated in their true metrics; and state-level guides that turn local electricity rates into actual dollar figures.

What we don't do
